Ray of light breaks with feverish luminosity,

day denominated by her sophisticated palette, 

such impassioned delight; becoming delirium -

magical, whimsical, anticipation so enthralling. 

The journey sparkles with curiosity and quest;

hand in hand or entwined protectively on shoulders, 

seated we wait; smiles abound in her energetic orbit, 

loving touch, sporadic play;  so exploratory and tactile. 

Arrival! Perfect little legs involuntarily squirm;

cherished remnant - echo of formative expression, 

concentrative powers converge toward sapor.

And then, satiated. Familiar adventures beckon...
