Doubt strewn with abject contempt

Conflicted interests blind to truth

Matters not; effort given to pre-empt

Forever lost: innocence of youth

Viewing prism; shadowed and bleak

Course brushstrokes monochromatic 

Words hollow; all meanings oblique 

Past interpretations so problematic 

Triggered again: stir well and repeat 

Apathy adorns soul - certain defeat 

Score illusory; we both justify reasons
