Glance

It was the best of days - as it followed the greatest night

So oft revisited in mind’s eye: perfection in detail complete - albeit one

Single shadow cast, act or inaction that resides at large...to not look back

But such gesture was borne in certain contentment: life had truly begun!

And from such a beginning I could never turn back, nor resist fates pure hand

Sun had set on my life, and moonrise had gifted a life as soul mate to another.
